The three sunflower quilts are
made from blocks I get in a birthday swap.
And this is how a birthday swap
works:
At the beginning of the year (or better a little bit earlier) every member
describes what kind of blocks she wants to receive for her birthday.
Specify your wishes (blocksize, colors, and so on) as precise as you want. The blocks will be send to you
shortly before your birthday. It's a big fun to open so many
letters on your birthday and to be thrilled about all the wonderful blocks.
I worked three quilts from all
these sunflowers;
they decorate my home in late summer.
